Day 1: GAYA- Bodhgaya.

Arrive Gaya/Bodhgaya in  afternoon and Transfer To Hotel, later visit to Mahabodhi Temple,Bodhi Tree, Vajrasana.

Overnight stay at Hotel in Bodhgaya.

Day 2: Gaya-Bodhgaya (Local Sightseeing)

After breakfast, drive to Gaya (18 Kms).En-route vist Dungeshwari cave temples are also known as the Mahakala caves. Lord Budha underwent years of penance here before he descended to Bodhgaya. Later Visit Vishnu Temples or Vishnupad Temple is sacred among Hindus and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Back to Bodhgaya.

Overnight stay at Hotel in Bodhgaya.

Day 3: Bodhgaya–> Rajgir (75Kms/2Hrs)–> Nalanda (16Kms/30Min)–>Patna (90Kms/02Hrs)

Post breakfast, drive to Rajgir (75 Kms). visit to Gridhkutta (Vulture ‘s peak), World Peace Stupa, Venuvanaram & Bimbisar Prison. Lunch at hotel Rajgir. Later Drive to Nalanda (16 kms) to visit the ruins of world ancient University. It was one of the oldest Universities of the World & International Centre for Buddhist Studies. Our final destination of the day will be Patna, Drive to Patna.

Overnight stay at hotel in Patna.


Day 4: Patna–>Vaishali (65Kms/2.5Hrs)–> Kesaria–>Kushinagar (225Kms/5Hrs)

Post Breakfast drive to Vaishali to witness the Ashokan pillar- King Ashoka erected The Lion Pillar at Kolhua. It is of highly luster polished single piece of red sandstone, surmounted by a bell shaped Lion Capital.

Bawan Pokhar Temple: An old temple built in the Pala period stands on the northern bank of Bawan Pokhar and enshrines beautiful sculptures of several Hindu gods.

En route Kesaria while proceeding to Kushinagar. Kesaria has attracted the buddhist pilgrims from around the world. The large stupa witness the history of Buddha. The stupa is consider to be largest in the world with the height of 104 feet dates to between 200 AD and 750 AD.   Kesariya stupa is believed to have been built to honor the place where Buddha had spent the last days of his journey, before attaining Nirvana. It is said that on his last journey to Pawa, Buddha handed over his begging bowl to the people of Vaishali, and requested them to go back to Vaishali. It is considered as the Lichhivis have built this stupa. Formerly, it was Stupa made of Mud but it gained it present structure in the Maurya, Sunga and Kushana Dynasty.

Drive to Kushinagar. Overnight Kushinagar.

Day 5: Kushinagar–>Lumbini(150Kms/04Hrs)

After Breakfast, proceed to visit Mahaparnirvana Temple (where Buddha took his last breathe) and Rambhar Stupa (cremation site of lord Buddha) and Japanese Temple. Later drive toward Lumbini (in Nepal).En-route Kapilvastu.

Overnight in Lumbini (Nepal)

***For Foreign National visiting Nepal and coming back to India, Double Entry Indian Visa is required.

Day 6: Lumbini–> Varanasi (320Kms./6hrs)

After Breakfast visit to Lumbini Buddhist Pilgrimage Site where Lord Buddha was born. Queen Mayadevi gave birth to the Siddhartha Gautam in 563 BCE, Visit to Mayadevi Temple. Later proceed to Varanasi.

Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 7: Varanasi

Early morning, Proceed to Ganges for  a boat ride.  It is a mystical and spiritual experience as you watch people offering water to the Sun God and devotees taking holy dip in the Ganges.Visit to Kashi Vishwanath Temple Back to Hotel.

Post Breakfast proceed to Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples. The attractions at Sarnath are the Mahabodhi Temple, the Dhamekha stupa, Chaukhandi stupa and the archaeological museum.

Evening Departure transfer to Airport or Railway Station to catch flight for next Destination.
