Kolkata- Darjeeling- Kalimpong- Gangtok- Kolkata (07 Days/ 06 Nights)

Day 01: Arrive Kolkata
On arrival at the international airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Check in to the hotel and relax.

Day 02: Kolkata – Bagdogra (By flight) – Darjeeling (By road- 6 hrs)
In the morning, you'll be transferred to airport to board a flight to Bagdogra. On arrival you'll be met and we drive to Darjeeling - one of the most beautiful hill resorts of India offering breathtaking mountain views of the Kanchanjunga (8,586m) - the 3rd highest peak of the world. Arrive and check in to the hotel and relax.

Day 03: Darjeeling
Today we'll take an invigorating early morning excursion to the Tiger Hill to enjoy the spectacular sunrise on the Kanchanjunga range. Watch the glow of the sunrise changing, as it bathes the snow-capped peaks in pastel hues. Return to hotel for breakfast, and start for a half-day city sightseeing tour of Darjeeling, visiting the famous Ghoom Monastery , the oldest Buddhist monastery in the region; and the Tibetan Refugee Village , known for its superb carpets and handicrafts. Spend the afternoon at leisure.

Day 04: Darjeeling – Kalimpong (By road- 4 hours drive)
In the morning, we'll drive to Kalimpong across the Teesta River and through dense forests of Teak and Sal. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the Tharpa Choling Monastery to see age-old frescoes and exquisite silk thangkas , and delight over an incredible 500 varieties of exotic orchids, cacti and other plants in a riot of colors at the Orchid nurseries.

Day 05: Kalimpong – Gangtok (By road- 4-5 hours)
In the morning, we'll drive to Gangtok, the capital of the Indian state of Sikkim. On arrival check in to your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Gangtok visiting the 200 year-old Enchey Monastery and enjoy the artistic celebration of the Buddhist faith atop a fabulous ridge overlooking the city of Gangtok. Later visit the Namgyalk Institute of Tibetology to discover a rare collection of books, art and astonishingly beautiful thangkas .


Day 06: Gangtok
In the morning, we'll drive to the famous Rumtek Monastery , passing through scenic lush green rice fields and bamboo groves. Here you can see some exquisite mural work. Spend the afternoon at your leisure.

Day 07: Gangtok – Bagdogra (By road-3 hrs) – Kolkata (By flight)
In the early morning, we'll drive to Bagdogra airport to board a flight to Kolkata. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the Victoria Memorial known for its unusual architecture, its artistic displays of the British Raj and unique artifacts. Later visit the famous Kali Temple , dedicated to the goddess Kali. Later drive down the famous Chowringhee Avenue , the wide boulevard with stately mansions on one side and a huge expanse of green on the other, to the New Market , a buzzing bazaar since 1874.

Day 08: Kolkata Departure
In the morning our representative will assist you transfer to international airport to board a flight for your onward journey.
